Jan Kurtz will share stories from her book: Northern Shores/ Southern Borders, retelling the participation of the UCC church during the time of the 1980s Overground Railroad, peacemaking, and church basement ladies. This little known story in our country’s history includes many quiet, behind the scenes activists, including members of this church. The question: How do we respond now?
