I put a short comment and picture on Facebook, concerning your writing and this book. So very glad to have met you! One of the highlights of my summer! Thank you, Rhoda
Rhonda. . . it was such a pleasure to meet you and spend the evening with your club! Mil gracias for putting a shout-out on Facebook and for your enthusiasm regarding my book and the stories we shared. Aside: there is a Spanish word for “the Crying Woman” that carries a legend! It is “La Llorona” and is invoked to scare kiddos. In your case, I would apply it lovingly as someone who weeps out of empathy and care – the antithesis of the centuries old story. Either way, my heart goes out to LA LLORONA. Gracias, amiga! Jan
